eCabinet Setup
Virtual eCabinets can be setup in many way with up to 10 eIndex Fields (search fields) and unlimited number of eSubFolders. eCabinets along with their eIndex fields and eSubFolders can be added, renamed or deleted at anytime.

Data Entry, Scanning, Searches and Reports
Records can easily be scanned, indexed and retrieved. eFolders along with their data entries can easily be renamed or deleted at any time. Reports of specific searches can be saved in PDF or HTML format.

Searches and Reports

  • Searches can be performed in many ways:
  • Searching by one or many indexes a specific eCabinet or the whole database.
  • Searching by first, middle or last part of a given index using the ‘*’ char or the ‘%’ char as the unknown part of the eIndex field; or
  • Generating a report of a given eFolder, eCabinet, or the whole database.

Multiple Searches
Searching by multiple eIndex fields gives the flexibility to narrow down searches on larger eCabinets. Records may be retrieved by selecting an eIndex field from the dropdown list of eIndexFields or by providing the first, middle or last part of the search field using the ‘*’ char or the ‘%’ char as the unknown part of the eIndex field. Auto Complete is also a great feature to quickly retrieve records.

Search results can be saved as a PDF or HTML report. HTML reports includes all the data entries from the selected records as well as all eDocuments associated with those records.

Users Setup
Docustore security features include an assigned User ID and password with 3 levels of access determined by the administrator:

  • Viewer: Can view but cannot change records
  • Scanner: Can read and add or edit records
  • Administrator: Can read and has full powers to add, delete, or edit records, cabinets, or users.

Inserting and Importing
Documents already saved in digital format can also be inserted one at a time or in a batch.
